An Embodied Journey Into Remembrance

SOMA is a six-week embodied exploration of non-dual Tantrik philosophy through the wisdom of Soma (the living intelligence of the body).

Weaving ancient teachings with embodied practice, we explore what happens when philosophy moves beyond the conceptual and becomes something we can feel, experience and live.

SOMA is an exploration of the body as a doorway into awakening — not separate from consciousness, but part of the living ground through which we experience, perceive, relate and awaken.

Through somatic asana, Embodied Flow™, meditation, mantra and creativity, we explore the patterns through which we meet life, cultivating a deeper capacity to listen, discern and respond.

Three threads woven through SOMA

Embodied Yoga + Somatic Inquiry

The body as a doorway into the teachings

SOMA is an invitation to enter the teachings through the living body.

Drawing from Embodied Flow™, Body-Mind Centering® and Yoga we become curious about the many layers and systems of ourselves — exploring body, breath, sensation, movement, energy, impulse and the quieter territories of our inner experience.

Sādhanā + Creative Integration

Mantra, meditation, devotion and the art of listening

Alongside movement and philosophy, we enter the quieter and more devotional territories of practice.

Mantra, meditation, prāṇāyāma and devotion are woven through the journey, offering different ways of gathering ourselves closer, listening beneath habitual thought and becoming receptive to what is asking to be felt, seen, expressed or remembered.

There is space for creativity, journaling and contemplation - allowing what we encounter in practice to continue unfolding after the session has ended.

Through these inquiries, we begin exploring how the teachings might travel with us beyond time in practice and out into relationship with how we meet life.

Non-Dual Tantra + Embodied Philosophy

Ancient maps of consciousness, encountered through lived experience

Non-dual Tantra offers a radical view: consciousness is not somewhere beyond or outside of us, or separate from the world, but continually expressing itself through the living fabric of experience.

We are a microcosm of the macrocosm; the same creative power that moves through the universe moves through and as us. Consciousness and form, Śiva and Śakti, are forever entwined in the unfolding dance of aliveness — līlā.

What is the Intention?

At the heart of yoga is mokṣa — freedom. Through the lens of the traditions that inform SOMA, this freedom is not something outside of us or something another person can give us, but something we are invited to recognise within our own lived experience.

And yet, there can be much between us and that recognition. Conditioning, habits, protective patterns and past experiences can become so familiar that we begin to mistake them for who we are, leaving us disconnected from sensation, intuition and the quieter intelligence of the body.

SOMA takes a bottom-up approach. Through sensation, movement, breath and embodied inquiry, we create space to feel, listen and recognise. From here, new possibilities can emerge: greater choice, greater agency, and new ways of moving through life that are not entirely determined by what has come before.

Within non-dual Tantra, this points us towards pratibhā, the intuitive insight and inner knowing that can arise when we become quiet enough to listen.

The focus isn’t on attaining anything or self-improvement, but rather a deepening of relationship with who we already are, honouring the many facets that make us whole.

SOMA is an invitation to peel back, listen, inquire and remember — creating more space to meet yourself and life with presence, agency, intuition and freedom

“As our bodies are made from the same atoms as the stars, when we attune ourselves to these basic building blocks of all organic life we align to our cosmic heritage, further connecting ourselves into the unified field”
