Embodied Yoga & Meditation

In Presence . In Truth . In Community

There is a place in you where you have never been wounded, where there's
still a sureness in you, where there's a seamlessness in you, and where
there is a confidence and tranquility in you. And I think the intention of
prayer and spirituality and love is now and again to visit that inner kind
of sanctuary.”

Testimonials

  • I have had the pleasure of practising with Alice over the last few years. When you step into the space with her you immediately feel safe, as she is authentic and experienced in what she teaches. Alice’s guidance moves far deeper than the physical postures, illuminating sensation and awareness in a unique way. I high recommend her

    Claudia Silas

  • ‘I have been Alice’s (or Yoga Goddess Alice as I affectionately refer to her) yoga student for three years now. I’ve practiced yoga for around thirty years and Alice is genuinely one of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of practicing with. I always leave her classes both physically energised and mentally calm.’

    Mandie Stravino OBE

  • Yoga is a journey towards inner peace and more physical energy. I know of no better guide than Alice to take you on this journey.”

FAQs

  • Embodied yoga is an invitation to move, breathe, and be in deep relationship with yourself and the world around you. It’s not about achieving perfect shapes, but about inhabiting your body with presence, curiosity, and care.

At its heart, embodied yoga is about living the teachings of yoga—not just intellectually, but through felt experience. It’s a way of embodying both the philosophy and practice of yoga in daily life—where movement becomes a meditation, and the body a bridge to deeper knowing.

It invites you to sense, feel, and be—to dwell in beingness, in intimacy with the present moment, and in connection with all things. It’s a practice of awakening the body as a wise guide and a gateway to deeper awareness, integration, and wholeness.

  • Tantra is a spiritual path that invites us to meet all of life as sacred. Rather than seeking to transcend the body or escape the world, Tantra calls us to fully descend into the richness of the moment—to embody the aliveness of life as it moves through us.

At the heart of Tantra is the understanding that the world is infused with divine power—Śakti—the creative force of life itself. These teachings remind us that consciousness longs to know itself through form—through our bodies, our breath, our emotions, and our everyday experience.

Tantra brings us nowhere but here—into presence with the miraculous nature of the body: its ability to shift, evolve, transform, and move with life in all the ways it spirals, softens, and upends. It is a path of direct experience—of sensing, feeling, and honouring the sacred in all things.

Through this, we remember that the formless lives within form, and that each moment is an invitation into intimacy with what is.

  • The word soma comes from the Greek, meaning “the living body.” In somatics, we relate to the body not as a mechanical structure, but as a living, intelligent system—alive with sensation, memory, and possibility.

Somatic movement invites us to listen deeply to the body’s felt sense. Through intuitive exploration, we begin to enliven different systems of the body—awakening awareness down to the cellular level. Any part of the body, any system, can be brought online—reawakened, re-patterned, and reconnected.

As we move this way, we begin to unravel stored tension, trauma, and old imprints held in the body, allowing space for healing, integration, and a more grounded, alive sense of self.
